You may Request for an Application for Ballot by Mail

To be eligible to vote early by mail in Texas, you must:

  • be 65 years or older;
  • be disabled;
  • be out of the county on election day and during the period for early
  • voting by personal appearance; or
  • be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.

You may open this form (PDF, 41kb) print the application, fill in the information, sign and date it. You will then put it in an envelope, add postage, and mail to the Early Voting Clerk in Brown County.

You must mail the application to the early voting clerk of the authority conducting the election.

February 19 – Early voting period begins for the Primary Election.

February 29 – Last day of early voting for the Primary Election.

March 4 – Republican General Primary Election

March 29 – SD/County Conventions (Time & Place to be Announced)

March 31 – Early voting period begins for the Primary
Runoff Election.

April 4 – Last day of early voting for the Primary
Runoff Election.

April 8 – PRIMARY RUNOFF ELECTION DAY

April 28 – New County Chairmen and Precinct Chairmen
take office.

June 12-14 – Republican Party of Texas State
Convention (Houston, TX)

To Attend the Republican Party of Texas State Convention, you MUST attend Both your Precinct Convention (conducted immediately after the Polls close – Notice will be posted at your voting location AND ask your Election Judge for information regarding the Precinct Convention on March 4) AND the Brown County Republican Party Convention. You will learn information regarding the Brown County Republican Convention at your Precinct Convention and information will be posted on this site.

September 1-4 – Republican National Convention (Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN)

To Attend the Republican National Convention, you MUST attend All Conventions – your Precinct Convention (conducted immediately after the Polls close – Notice will be posted at your voting location AND ask your Election Judge for information regarding the Precinct Convention on March 4) AND the Brown County Republican Party Convention AND the Republican Party of Texas State Convention. You will learn information regarding the Republican National Convention at Republican Party of Texas State Convention and information will be posted on this site.

October 6 – Last day a person may register to vote for the General Election.

October 20 – First day of early voting in the General
Election.

October 31 – Last day of early voting in the General
Election.

November 4 – GENERAL ELECTION DAY
